Bananenhalle Finca Hotel La Gomera

News

Do you know which native plants grow around El Cabrito?

Now you can discover them in the new patch that our farming team has planted next to the historic Banana Hall. This planter bed is a perfect way to appreciate and learn more about the beauty and uniqueness of the native plants of the Canary Islands.

The Canarian lavender, the Kleinia neriifolia (a dwarf shrub that is common in the Canary Islands), the Canarian Aeonium and the marguerite daisy grow here.

With this small garden we want to introduce our guests to the diversity of species on La Gomera.

This is one of our actions under the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism and the National Park. It reaffirms our commitment to the environment and wildlife on the island.
