INFOS TO THE COURSE OF JOURNEY
Travelling to El Cabrito is still a small “adventure” since the little Canary Island of La Gomera does not have an international airport and therefore cannot be flown to directly from Europe. All in all your travel time might add up to 12 hours. Our CHECKLIST is to help you to spend your travelling time pleasantly and without stress.
This checklist contains information for booking your flight and the further course of your journey. It is particularly informative for guests who visit us at El Cabrito for the first time. But we also recommend our regulars to glance at this material before booking a flight because we regularly update the checklist. Arrive and go on
Transfer MESA
We want you to arrive without stress and to depart again in a relaxed mood. We therefore recommend you take advantage of the offer of our cooperation partner Autobuses MESA who completely organise your direct transfer from the airport Tenerife SOUTH via the harbour of Los Cristianos to San Sebastián – and back again on your departure.
Please take note: Your booking with MESA has to be completed at the latest 5 days prior to you starting the journey.
MESA will expect you at the airport. The MESA office is situated in the main hall on the way to the exit towards the taxi stand, counter 1. MESA will take you and your fellow travellers to the ferry and give you your ferry tickets. On your journey back MESA will await you at the harbour of Los Cristianos and take you to the airport.
Not included in the price for MESA: In case of an overnight stay: transfer to a hotel on Tenerife and from there to the harbour (arrival) and/or to the airport (departure). Transfer from San Sebastián to El Cabrito in one of our own boats. Please see our price lists.

El Cabrito's boat crew
Two strong teams
Several times a day our boat crews – the captain's – travel in one of our three boats the distance of 2.6 nautical miles between San Sebastián and El Cabrito. In sunshine, wind and waves they make sure that our guests arrive safely and depart on time. Furthermore they transport by sea everything that is needed on the finca. Two teams with their respective captains are in action all week long: Genaro (far left) works together with Rubén Herrera (far right). Rubén Leon and Aaron (in the middle) form the other crew.

Ferries & Boats
Ferries from Los Cristianos: Departure times change from time to time. We therefore recommend to check up the current ferry times on the websites of the ferry companies Fred Olsen or NAVIERA ARMAS: Please take note also of our advice on buying your ticket.
Our Boats from San Sebastián: We pick you up with one of our boats Pardela, San Borondon or Zapatilla for the 15 minute crossing to El Cabrito. Please note: When there is a surge of waves at the mole of El Cabrito stepping onto and off the boat can be a bit tricky. But don't worry, our boat crew are reliable and get you and your luggage safely off and onto the boat.

Travel Light – U15!
Your holidays at El Cabrito are beginning in a few days. We pick you up in San Sebastián with one of our boats. Since your luggage is handled manually onto and off the boat by our crew we ask you kindly to keep your cases light, ideally to under 15kg! Here our suggestions how to save surplus luggage:
Holiday Reading: You will find our library amply supplied with novels, crime stories, children's books, non-fiction and art books in several languages to be lent without a fee.
Towels including beach towels are here for you at all times.
Clothing: Rather less than more! You have the use of our washing-machines for guests (for a small fee) and the sun and sea breeze for drying.
